Welcome to Coloured Cob, we are a highly qualified and experienced pony riding school in Sheffield that offers riding lessons for a range of abilities. Whether you are a beginner or a confident rider, our goal is to help every rider reach their goals and true potential.  Here at Coloured Cob, you can choose from solo or group lessons depending on your personal preference. Consisting of 55 beautiful ponies and horses ranging from 11hh to 17hh, you can rely on us to provide a suitable horse that will match your skill level. Our friendly team in Sheffield base each lesson around your needs and goals, ensuring it will benefit you as much as possible. Be it your first lesson, or you are looking to jump fences competotoevey, we can help you!

When horse riding, safety is always the priority as we want to ensure each rider is safe and won’t injure themselves. For example, each one of our riders is required to wear the hat we provide (up to current BETA standards) or if you bring your own, we will check that it is up to current standards. Upon arrival to your lesson, all you need to do is complete paperwork and then you will be ready for your horse riding lesson. We do ask that you wear suitable footwear and long trousers to the ankle.
