Are you interested in pony riding and don’t know where to start? Look no further, here at Coloured Cob, we are a pony riding school that offers lessons throughout Chesterfield and Worksop. Whether you are a beginner or a competitive rider, we cater to all abilities helping riders reach their riding goals quickly. Depending on your preference, we have solo and group riding lessons available to choose from. Coloured Cob is a qualified riding team in Chesterfield consisting of 55 experienced ponies and horses ranging from 11hh to 17hh. Using our high level of skill and expertise we are able to suggest beneficial lessons that focus on your goals. Whether it is your first time on a horse or you are looking to ride professionally, we can help you.

As a 5-star pony riding team in Chesterfield, it is our priority to uphold strict safety regulations at all times to ensure all riders are protected. Every rider is required to wear a BETA-approved hat which we will supply. However, if you bring your own, we will check that it is up to current standards. Upon arrival, all you need to do is complete paperwork and then you will be ready for your first horse riding lesson with us. We also ask that you wear suitable footwear and ankle-length trousers.
