Coloured Cob Equestrian Centre Ltd is steeped in history. Located at Bank House Farm, that was built in 1610, the property retains many of its ancient features. The surrounding areas are superb for hacking, with woodland trekking straight from the farm and a fantastic circular route through the archaeological beauty spot of Creswell Crags.
We offer treks for complete beginners through to advanced riders, ranging from half hour treks to three hour forest treks. We also provide excellent tuition in all weather surface outdoor sand school. All our instructors are highly qualified and have a wealth of experience. We also offer combined lesson/trek packages. We always put similar ability riders together.
We encourage horses to be cuddled here and not treated with hand held treats and between lessons we take them back to their fields to play with their friends, so that they are happy as possible without becoming sour from constantly doing schooling work then being placed back into a stable.
Customer service is also paramount to us, we offer packages and training, but if we can be flexible we try our very best to bespoke things to the clients’ requirements. Horses are matched to a client’s height, weight and ability. We firmly advocate that no-one should feel pushed beyond their comfort zone and we always ensure that we listen to what the client wants to achieve from their time around horses.
Please note, we are fully licensed and insured.
